At a vibrant street festival in Berlin, I had a truly extraordinary encounter. Among the many stalls and attractions, one person stood out in particular: a woman walking on stilts through the crowd. Her appearance was as unique as it was captivating: she was completely dressed up in an ensemble of green and white fabrics, artfully layered over one another. Over these fabrics, torn burlap was draped, giving her a down-to-earth look.
Her face was artistically painted, and she wore a subtle pair of glasses that gently framed her eyes. What made her headgear especially remarkable was its creative design: a combination of dried grass leaves and a coconut, resembling an exotic crown.
What truly made this woman unforgettable, however, was her kind gesture. As she walked through the crowd, she distributed small paper bags containing flower seeds. Every visitor who crossed her path could receive one of these little pouches. It was a magical sight to see her handing out these small gifts of life with a warm smile and a gentle hand, knowing that they would eventually grow into blooming plants.
This encounter was not only a feast for the eyes but also a beautiful reminder of the small, magical moments that make a street festival a special experience.
