I recently took a photo of a very special building on the Reinbeckhallen site. It’s an old brick building that’s still preserved in its original state. It’s fascinating how well you can feel the industrial past of Berlin through it.

This building is a genuine relic from the time when the Reinbeckhallen were a bustling center of industry. The brick facade I captured in the photo is typical of the architecture from that era. The red bricks and tall windows aren’t just functional; they’re also aesthetically pleasing. They were designed to allow plenty of daylight into the large production spaces, which improved working conditions.

It’s truly impressive how these old halls have withstood the test of time. While many of the historic buildings on the site have been renovated and repurposed, this one remains in its original condition. You can almost feel the history embedded in the walls of this building – a time when Berlin was a major hub for electrical engineering and machinery.

So, the building stands not only as a piece of architectural history but also as a memento of an era when Berlin was a melting pot of innovation and industrial development. It’s as if you could peer through the brick walls and catch a glimpse of the past.
