Cold bathing day
It was a windy and chilly day on the coast of Bornholm. Heavy clouds drifted across the sky, and the sea roared wildly against the shore. Despite the fresh breeze and cool temperatures, there she stood – a little girl with bright eyes and a determined look. The wind tugged at her hair, but she remained undeterred. Barefoot and in a light swimsuit, she bravely waded into the cold water. The waves foamed around her legs as she ventured deeper, until the cold finally enveloped her entire body.
For a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath – the wild sea, the stormy wind, and this small girl who defied the weather as if she herself belonged to the elements. When she finally emerged from the water, she shivered slightly, but a smile played on her lips, proud of her courage.
Waiting for her on the shore was a blue scarf, which she wrapped tightly around her shoulders. The fabric fluttered in the wind as she walked barefoot through the wet sand. With the scarf snug around her, she strolled slowly through the dunes, her feet digging into the cool sand, her hair tousled by the breeze.
It was in this very moment that I saw her. A mixture of wildness and gentleness, between a thirst for adventure and the search for warmth. The blue scarf danced with the wind, and the dunes stretched out like a gentle wave around her. The colors of the sky, the sand, and the blue of the scarf created an image that perfectly captured the cool beauty of this moment.
I reached for my camera and was able to capture exactly this magical moment – the image of a brave little girl defying Bornholm's stormy winds, wrapped in a blue scarf, surrounded by the scent of salt and freedom.
