The old Accumulator Factory Oberspree (AFA) in Berlin Oberschöneweide is a fascinating relic of past industrial culture. Although I only took photos from the outside, I was still able to capture the impressive architecture and unique charm of these unrestored buildings.
The massive brick facades, which have developed a rough patina over time, tell their own story. The traces of decay and the signs of nature slowly reclaiming the once-bustling industrial complex create a special atmosphere. As I stood there and captured the old factory buildings in my photos, I felt the quiet presence of a bygone era.
The combination of decay and the raw, unrefined aesthetics of the factory has a unique allure. It was an unforgettable moment to capture this forgotten beauty in my photos and preserve it for eternity – a silent witness to a once vibrant but long-gone time.
